Since 1998, SOMA has been increasingly strengthening and stabilizing itself as an HR Consultancy specializing in Recruitment and Selection, becoming the market leader in its region of operation, mainly in Executive Board positions, high and middle management.
Development of partnerships in several regions of Brazil, allowing SOMA to operate nationwide. Renovation of the physical space to better serve our customers and expand its relationship network nationwide.
Despite the Brazilian economic crisis of 2014/2017, also known as the recession, which although it was more noticeable in the following years, began in 2014. During this period, the countrys GDP fell 3.5% in 2015 and 3.3% in 2016. It was caused by a series of supply and demand shocks due to public policy errors that reduced the growth capacity of our economy. However, SOMA bravely survived this period with adequate strategic planning, cost reduction and new strategies in the commercial and service areas, further increasing customer loyalty.
Strengthened and reinvented after the financial crisis, SOMA invested heavily in the companys physical structure, changing the layout, technological park, which became cutting-edge, more modern furniture, beautiful lighting and relaxing background music, providing support and comfort to the team and all stakeholders.
SOMAs financial planning was a sine qua non condition for completing the construction of our headquarters in Brasília in early 2020 and then experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic. Although there was no appropriate business plan in the world for this unusual and drastic moment, SOMAs financial health was essential for overcoming this turbulent time. It was a reconstruction of knowledge and experience, a totally disruptive “reinvention”, where investment in people, media and management allowed us to survive this scenario. More agile and close management (despite the pandemic distancing) and with constant visits to our employees (respecting all the rules of the Ministry of Health) and thus, we transformed the distancing of the pandemic into a differentiated and warm closeness, providing better engagement with the team and qualitative results with our customers. 2021 was SOMAs best year in these years of existence. Our plan is to grow even more.
Bearing in mind that quality in our service provision is still our greatest differentiator, SOMA has developed new strategies in the area of ??customer relations, getting closer and building loyalty even more. We have had the arrival of a new Partner, Rodrigo Dumas, structuring the financial and IT areas to keep up with our growth. The impact is being reflected in numbers and customer satisfaction.
We have grown even more, moving to a more modern headquarters, adapted to the new market reality. We have increased our scope of operations, becoming much better known nationwide with the impact and strengthening of SOMA + Executiva (hunting and executive search), but we also continue to carry out selection processes for other levels and positions. Our Assessment has become even more successful due to the robustness and flexibility of focus and results, adapting to the needs of each client, whether they are Individuals (PF) or Companies (PJ).
